This is the first of two Chinese-language panels on “Explorations in Humanities Network Analysis” (人文網絡分析的實踐探索). It features original scholarship that employs the formal method of network analysis in the study of Chinese history and literature and is part of the Third Tsinghua Digital Humanities Forum. Some of the works presented in the panel will be published in the forthcoming special issue, co-edited by Chen Song陳松 (Bucknell University) and Zhao Wei 趙薇 (Chinese Academy of Social Sciences), for the Journal of Digital Humanities (Shuzi renwen).
