Julia K. Murray, Professor Emerita, Department of Art History, University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is the author of Ma Hezhi and the Illustration of the Book of Odes, Mirror of Morality: Chinese Narrative Illustration and Confucian Ideology, and many articles on Chinese painting, woodblock printing, narrative illustration, and pictorial biography.
James Robson, James C. Kralik and Yunli Lou Professor of East Asian Languages and Civilizations, Harvard University. He is the author of Power of Place: The Religious Landscape of the Southern Sacred Peak [Nanyue 南嶽] in Medieval China (Harvard, 2009), and many influential articles on Buddhism, Daoism, and Chan Buddhism in relation to material and bodily practices.
