- Abstract: This lecture shall make a comparative case study on attitudes about gossip from Early Chinese (Book of Songs “On the Wall There is Tribulus”) and Middle Egyptian (Teachings of Ptah-hotep) literary sources with a focus on wordplay and scribal agency.
