In 2020, as COVID-19 swept the globe, award-winning documentary filmmaker Hao Wu co-directed a landmark films exploring the outbreak in Wuhan, China. Co-directed by Weixi Chen and Anonymous, Hao Wu's 76 Days offers glimpses into the entire 76 day lockdown through the eyes of patients and medical workers. This event will highlight one of the most exciting documentary filmmakers of his generation, in dialogue with Michael Berry (CCS Director and translator of Wuhan Diary), to discuss their experience documenting the early stage of a global pandemic.
