The two fully remote panels in this Webinar feature original scholarship that takes a network approach to Chinese history and literature, as well as tools and databases that facilitate future research in this direction. Co-sponsored by the China Institute at Bucknell University, these panels constitute an integral part of the Third Tsinghua Digital Humanities Forum which is organized by the School of Humanities at Tsinghua University (Beijing) and the editorial board of the Journal of Digital Humanities (數字人文). The works presented in these panels are featured in a forthcoming special issue on network analysis in Chinese studies, co-edited by Chen Song陳松 (Bucknell University) and Zhao Wei 趙薇 (Chinese Academy of Social Sciences) for the Journal of Digital Humanities.
