Looking at Chinese Investments in Northern Europe in a presentation of the COINS (Consequences of Foreign Investments for National Security) project, Morten S. Andersen, Hege Medin and Ulf Sverdrup, all from the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), will present results from a comprehensive statistical mapping of Chinese investments, a survey on attitudes towards foreign investments, and discuss some of the challenges facing governments when designing effective screening mechanisms. Questions will be welcome throughout the event via chat and the floor will be opened for a discussion with the audience in the final part of the event.
